Automated Exam Marking
An exam-marking assistant that reads handwritten answer sheets, scores them against your own model paper, and hands every mark back to a teacher to approve.
An exam-marking assistant that reads handwritten answer sheets, scores them against your own model paper, and hands every mark back to a teacher to approve.
How it works
- Upload: Your teacher's solved paper, and the scanned student sheets. Whatever your copier already produces — no special paper, no bubble sheets, no new hardware.
- Check, free: It finds every answer box and shows you, side by side with your model paper, before anything is spent. If the counts do not match, it says so and stops.
- Mark: It reads the handwriting and scores each answer against your model answer, with a short, plain reason for every mark.
- Sign off: The teacher changes anything they disagree with, then approves. Nothing reaches a student unsigned.
The part that matters
- Every paper sits at "Awaiting review" until a teacher approves it.
- Any score can be overwritten, and the remark rewritten in the teacher's own words.
- The original is never hidden — what the system first said stays on screen, so you can see what changed and change it back.
- You write the rubric in plain English, for the whole paper or question by question, and it is applied identically to student one and student forty.
